This is a recent story (earlier this year or late last year, I think) but it's so good it needs to be recced as much as possible. And if you are a hardcore OTPer do not pass this up just because Anakin's in it; it's very much Q/O.

Reasons for recommending: Where do I start? This is seriously the best Star Wars fic I've ever read. It's a glimpse at Anakin becoming Vader and it's just so real. I read it and I think yes, this is how someone could set their foot on that path. You can see the progression; it's perfect.
