Here's the schedule for the first eight weeks. Reccers, please let me know if you need anything changed. Otherwise, ausmac will kick things off on Tuesday, 1 June.

GH, if you need me to post your first rec, that's fine. After that I'd say just make it up when you can, but for the first week it would be nice if we could have one every day.

I just figured that after the first set of recs, all mine would be gone. Anyway, volunteer me for the second set. I'm so looking forward to this.

Thanks, but I'm thinking I'm not going to take names for the second group until mid-July. I'm afraid I'll just lose track and accidentally insult someone. Keep an eye on tpm_flashback around July 15--that's when I'll post the next call for volunteers.

I was in the second group on tsflashback, and I was surprised how many of my very favorite stories hadn't been mentioned yet. I'm hoping the same thing will happen here.

This is true, and one thing that had already occurred to me. It's going to be a right bitch if you get your rec all sorted and tidied, wait all week and then someone recs it the night before, so you have virtually no time to dump and research something else.

So I wondered, would it be possible to at least ledt the person know who is doing the next rec what you are reccing, to give them at least 2 days to find something else? For example: from the second weel when I'm on Tuesday - if, say, my story is pipped on Friday, at least I have Saturday, Sunday and Monday to find something. However, if the Monday reccer does mine (and taking into account the time zones) I have very little time to work up something else.

Yes, I will doing a list of about a dozen stories, but if (as is likely) many of those get selected by others, it might make things a bit hard.

Let's wait and see how it goes. If the story you wanted to use does get taken at the last minute, and it makes you a day or two late, that's no big deal. I suspect that the schedule is going to get a little flexible after the first couple weeks anyway--that's definitely what happens at tsflashback. It'll only be a problem if several days go by without a post, and I don't think that will happen.
