Hello Campers! Just pretend this is Friday. This week's category is Humor. There's a lot of good humor out there in M-A land, so it's very hard to pick. A recent thread on M-A made me go, "Hmmm." Thus this rec -- another 1999 golden oldie.

Title: The Morning After

Author: Chat Noir

Rating: PG

Pairing: Q/O

Warnings: none. Well, don't drink anything while reading the fic, unless you *like* the feel of liquid squirting out of your nose.

Authors email: Sithlawyer @ aol.com OR master_chatnoir @ livejournal.com
Website: None that I know of
LJ ID: [livejournal.com profile] master_chatnoir

Reasons for recommending: I think Chat may have read one too many romanticized stories about the morning after the first night. Chat ends the story by asking forgiveness of the reader. Hmmm, maybe I should have put that in the "warnings" section.

"Good Morning," he said seductively. Qui-Gon's eyes began to water as the wave of breath broke over his nostrils. A greenish color rose through the jedi's skin as he inhaled what must surely have been the stench of a dead taun-taun. Wiping away the tears that had begun to stream down his cheeks, Qui-Gon smiled fondly at his apprentice. Both of the young man's eyes had now rolled back up into his head as though the supreme effort of speaking had drained him so utterly as to send him back into a state of half-sleep.
