Reasons for recommending: I like silly stories, a fact that should surprise absolutely no one anywhere, right? But silly is so damned hard to pull off successfully (I know, I've tried) -- too far in one direction and it becomes ludicrous, too far in another and it becomes just stupidly boring. So when I find a story that manages silly so beautifully, I tend to read and keep re-reading forever.

The setup for this story is fairly simple -- the boyz are on a mission to a planet where the inhabitants are felinoids. One of them, a daughter of a fairly high-ranking somebody, manages to get Obi-Wan to drink some type of potion that suppresses his civilized humanity and makes him behave like... well, a cat. The idea of Obi-Wan slinking around like a cat, stretching his whole body, refusing to take a bath, well, it just cracks me up. Poor Qui-Gon has to deal with the situation until the potion wears off, and it's pure torture for the master who so desperately wants his padawan. There were moments when I laughed out loud in all four stories, though the latter two weren't quite as good as the first, since the novelty had worn off. The characterizations are excellent and the story as a whole is just a lot of fun to read, which really should be no surprise for those who have read Elayna's stuff.

Quote from story:
The potent shaft rubbed on my opening and with a defiant roar, Qui-Gon shoved his hardness into me. The pain didn't materialize, as a soft maneuver of the Force opened me to accept his intrusion.

Damn. He was faking. He'd been faking the entire time. Not only could he blank his mind, enclose his intelligence with primitive thoughts, he could probe into my body and ease the tenseness of my muscles.

As soon as I finished killing him, I promised he would teach me both techniques. Beginning with the second one. A Master should never hide knowledge from his Padawan Learner.
